Hi Everyone, BLOKES PLAY BLUES does what it says on the tin. Formed in mid-2022. After several gigs in 2023 and more in 2024, we’ve now added new material and already have two gigs booked in 2025.

We are six blokes, playing blues with a jazz flavour. As we all know what we’re doing, it’s just about having fun. We're all of a certain vintage, so there are no prima donnas in the band, just a bunch of Blokes Playing Blues.

There’s:

KEVIN BLOKE who plays Sax, Guitar, Harmonica and sings a bit.

TIM BLOKE who plays lead and rhythm guitar on Big Red, or the Black Beast.

JOHN BLOKE holding us all together, its all about the bass! Hailing from the North West, now playing the blues here in North Dorset.

COLIN BLOKE our drummer keeping the beat, sets the groove, keeps us all in line and makes us swing!

DAVE BLOKE aka 'Dave the Guitar', soloist or vocalist, just loves to play the blues.

DAVID BLOKE Steering the band from centre stage, David has taken on the mantle of lead singer and all round good Bloke.
