TIM BLOKE  Like most guitarists, Tim Bloke started playing guitar in his late teens, joining a couple of bands.  However, he gave it up after a few years when marriage and real life started getting in the way.  He took it up again in his mid forties, gaining experience in rock and pop covers bands.  He has made up for lost time since and can turn his hands to almost any riff, solo or rhythm he chooses.

 

Tim is also a walking encyclopaedia of music, with endless knowledge of songs and artists of all styles. He has played with a variety of different styles of bands and cover bands, but his first love has always been the blues.  Like most of us he had decided to settle down to the pipe and slippers, retiring to Somerset from his native Salisbury, when his ideal band came knocking in the shape of The Blokes.​​
